What is regarded as a standard Qualification for a Chief Economic Adviser in India? Answer seems to be: A Ph.D. from a Foreign University of "Great Glamor", and/or experience of working in IMF or World Bank. While this is so, what additional qualifications will be necessary? Ans: The Candidate must have same likes and dislikes WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO THE LIKES AND DISLIKES of a Prime Minister. Everybody is aware that 2019 Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi displays great dislike against the Nehru Dynasty. Wherever he speaks, he invariably castigates the Evils which the Nehru Dynasty imposed on India during the last seven decades. Now, our Candidate for Chief Economic Adviser Post should also have a similar distaste against Nehru Dynasty. The following link of News Report in Economic Times of 7th July 2016, contains an Article written by Shri Krishnamurthy Subramanian jointly with Abhishek Bharadwaj, on the occasion of Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh indicates his abhorrence of Nehru Dynasty. The title of the Article is " In debt to dynasty? How rule by Gandhis has repeatedly pushed country towards indebtedness".
According to my perception
I am not a hater of either Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi, or Shri Krishnamurthy Subramanian. I am too small a fry to have likes and dislikes. I am writing these findings only because the EXACTITUDE OF THE COINCIDENCES OF our Hon. PM, and our New CEA. They made me wonder-struck. First, I shall quote the Opening Paragraph of the above Article, with my personal view/perceptions.

| "The Dynasty” is ready to roll its last throw of the dice with Priyanka Gandhi being drafted to play a leading role in Congress’s UP campaign. Given her husband Robert Vadra’s shenanigans during the UPA regime, UP voters must ask: Should we foster a local Benazir Bhutto with Robert Vadra playing the “Mr 10 percent” equivalent of Asif Ali Zardari? However, because this move is an attempt by The Dynasty to perpetuate itself, we need to ask an even more fundamental question: What does loyalty to The Dynasty get the nation? What is the legacy of umpteen years of rule by The Dynasty? | Viewing in retrospective from Feb. 2019: Now, the Enforcement Directorate is PENETRATINGLY with XRay eyes questioning Mr. Robert Vadra, h/o Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. She has also indicated that she will defend her husband Mr. Vadra. There may be several reasons for the indebtedness of the country, some of which are really beyond the Control of the Dynasty. Even for Non-Dynastic Governments, those factors are likely to be formidable. Example: While Campaigning in 2014, Mr. Narendra Modi dreamt of bringing back all the black money stashed abroad. After coming to power, he and Mr. Arun Jaitley (FM) might have realised that it was not going to be so easy, because the Foreign Governments do not co-operate. Similarly, another very strong reason for the External Indebtedness of the country is its Extremely uncontrollable Adversity of Balance of Trade, Balance of Payment Current Account disequilibrium, Inelastic stagnating Exports, etc. etc. " Lack of Oil and Natural Gas Reserves" are extremely affecting the Exchange Reserves position. |
Additional perceptions of ybrao-a-donkey
In conseuquence uncontrollable Imports and rigid stagnating Exports, gradual rise of invisible imports, the country started facing Exchange Reserve Crises, which culminated during the reign of Mr. Chandrasekhar. Late P.V. Narasimha Rao and Mr. Manmohan Singh who claim(ed) credit for initiating Economic Reforms and LPG (Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation) have, instead of following the direct path of promoting Exports and curtailing imports, chose the softer solution of canvassing for Foreign Investments by offering Free/cheap lands, tax concessions, liberalisation of Labor Laws, etc. (More to write).
