#004 'ALWAYS CHECK' MAY NOT RESULT IN 'MATE'

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPIM is delaying withdrawing support to the Manmohan Singh's Government on the issue of the 123 agreement. In chess, sometimes continuous checks do not end up in mate. Before the intended "mate" takes place, the check-giver himself may be caught up in a deadly mate.

The CPIM may get split on the question of withdrawing support to the UPA Government. The split may be engineered from Bengal.
